Subject: Email is being sent int loop to one of our users
I have user who is continually receiving a 10MB email from a genuine
business contact who uses Gmail.

All I can do at present is add the Gmail address to our spam
blacklist. However the email continues to be sent from the Gmail
account but now it is rejected. The user will need to communicate with
the gmail acocunt holder in the future so this isn't a pratical
solution.

My question is who do I contact at gmail to "terminate" this mail?

Many Thanks

Matthew Key

How long has this been going on for? Can you capture a few examples of
the mail with full headers to see exactly where the mail is being
duplicated?

Let's take a look at the times here:

The only break in time is between the time given by the originating
email client (Outlook? You deleted too many details to be sure) and
the time of reception at google's SMTP server. This appears to show
that it is the originating client that is continually resending the
same message. Can you contact the sender and see if the message is
stuck in their outlook outbox or their outgoing virus checking
software? Can you ask them to just turn off their computer and see if
the sending stops?
