I have over 5000 emails in my inbox and would like to mass delete all
of them at once.  I have looked through all the options and do not see
anything that can help me.
Please help me out!!!

In the listing of the email, select All link. Then you will see the
option to select All the emails in the folder.

While in your Inbox, vs. being in a message, click Select: All
Right beneath that, you will be a message similar to this:

All 100 conversations on this page are selected. Select all 413
conversations in Inbox

The 'Select all 413 ...' is a link.  Click that.  All your messages
now go to Trash.  You can then click the 'Empty Trash now' link.

So that kitzychick (or others with the same question) would not have
to come back and ask:

1. how do I select the whole Inbox, not just the current page of
messages
2. how to empty her trash (in case she or others were trying to
recover space in the Inbox).

I never assume about a user's level of experience.  Many years of
history tells me that someone does better with a step-by-step set of
instructions.
