Hi folks,

Anybody else seen POP (and maybe IMAP too) email coming in batches?
I'm getting reports of 45m delays between receiving emails, then a
flood of pending emails coming in.

Gmail's POP server makes messages available in batches, until all
messages have been downloaded.

Can you explain a little bit more?  I'm not sure I understand what you
mean.

I'm saying that in the past day, retrieving emails from gmail via POP
is different.  Normal operation had emails arriving constantly.
Yesterday, we started seeing up to a 45m delay in emails becoming
available, then 45m worth of emails coming at once.
