  <title type="text">IMAP not able to download all messages</title>

  I am using windows mobile 6 to download gmail imap emails from various &lt;br&gt; folders. It was working fine for some time but suddenly, since a &lt;br&gt; couple of weeks ago, I cannot access emails in other folders than the &lt;br&gt; inbox (it downloads headers but not the rest of the emails), like the &lt;br&gt; sent mail or starred folders.

  Hi everyone. &lt;br&gt; I had this problem too on OS X 10.5.5. It just started suddenly. &lt;br&gt; Once I altered the following settings it &#39;appears&#39; to be working as &lt;br&gt; normal again. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;1. Changed all references to &#39;googlemail&#39; to &#39;gmail&#39; - in server &lt;br&gt; settings etc (both used to work) &lt;br&gt; 2.   I really don&#39;t understand the connection between wanting to sync your &lt;br&gt; sent messages and them showing up in your inbox and why this was not &lt;br&gt; an issue and then suddenly it was. I think there is a problem and the &lt;br&gt; easy out is for the users to have to use filters to work around the &lt;br&gt; issue.

  Hi All &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Love the imap feature, but i used to use the blackberry and it had the &lt;br&gt; option to only delete email from the handheld so it would not sync &lt;br&gt; with the gmail server, useful for when i want to save the email on my &lt;br&gt; server, but not on my phone. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;does anyone know how to do this with the HTC TOUCH PRO phone?

  POP will only get messages from Inbox. So try to copy emails from &lt;br&gt; other folders to Inbox, and test if Gmail can fetch them.

  The university POP server probably only accesses the account&#39;s Inbox. &lt;br&gt; If so, you can move the other messages to the Inbox to download them. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;As for sent mail, look for an automatic BCC option in your university &lt;br&gt; account.
