POP and IMAP Google Group

All of POP message not being received

Hello,

I just recently created my account on gmail to accept my Outlook mail
so I can read my Outlook mail from work. The problem is gmail isn't
downloading every single one of my emails from my Outlook account. I
can go home and look at my emails and have 40 emails sitting in my
inbox and gmail has received only 5 of them. Can someone please give

Forwarding Gmail Major Issues

For some reason my businesses server (Verizon based) does not accept
Emails from my lawyer's company, nor the boy scouts or america, and

hebrew in outlook 2003 problem

I have a weird problem with Hebrew in my Outlook 2003 (Gmail account).
Part of the mail titles appear normally with Hebrew characters,
another part of the titles looks like this - îåãòä, and another part
apper in question marks (looks like this - ??? ??????). The same
happens in the sender name field. In addition, there are some mails

Hi folks,

Anybody else seen POP (and maybe IMAP too) email coming in batches?
I'm getting reports of 45m delays between receiving emails, then a
flood of pending emails coming in.

IMAP not able to download all messages

I am using windows mobile 6 to download gmail imap emails from various
folders. It was working fine for some time but suddenly, since a
couple of weeks ago, I cannot access emails in other folders than the
inbox (it downloads headers but not the rest of the emails), like the
sent mail or starred folders.

Hi everyone.
I had this problem too on OS X 10.5.5. It just started suddenly.
Once I altered the following settings it 'appears' to be working as
normal again.

1. Changed all references to 'googlemail' to 'gmail' - in server
settings etc (both used to work)
2. Change advanced tab to remove messages once downloaded from server

What do you mean by "Gmail Apps webmail"? the University account? Then
yes, POP access is enabled in both accts.

Under: Settings=>Forwarding/POP/IMAP= >Enable POP for all mail

Anything else?

Wrong "From:" Address on POP accessed emails

I picked up email from another ISP account, then access all my emails
from Eudora through POP. My problem is that all email picked up shows
my gmail address as the sender, even when it originally came from the
other ISP. So when I reply to those emails, the sending address is my

I really don't understand the connection between wanting to sync your
sent messages and them showing up in your inbox and why this was not
an issue and then suddenly it was. I think there is a problem and the
easy out is for the users to have to use filters to work around the
issue.

HTC TOUCH PRO IMAP QUESTION

Hi All

Love the imap feature, but i used to use the blackberry and it had the
option to only delete email from the handheld so it would not sync
with the gmail server, useful for when i want to save the email on my
server, but not on my phone.

does anyone know how to do this with the HTC TOUCH PRO phone?

We also tried routing her email here to another one of her email
accounts, and it's not allowing the POP3 access of the other gmail
account.
