Subject: Re: Fixing POP problems in 1-2-3 steps
Hi. I have a similar problem and am pretty much tearing my hair out. I
use Googlemail to retrieve messages from another server (Business 1st) which use a non-Google email address. Following a problem in receiving messages, I contacted my ISP who told me to change my POP3, which I did. However, although I am now receiving emails from the other server via Google, which is what I wanted, I'm also being inundated with literally thousands of old messages, mostly spam. I've so far deleted over 14,000 old messages and am at the end of my tether! There seems to be no way of stopping these repeating messages. Thanks in advance if you can help.
