  I stopped recieving email - any email - from 1:30 p.m. (EST) until 8 &lt;br&gt; ish a.m. this morning and I&#39;m not the only one.   POP access doesn&#39;t require Yahoo Mail Plus. I have a free account and &lt;br&gt; I can use it.   My account works on all machines except one old computer running Win. &lt;br&gt; 98. On that machine, upgraded to IE 6. but even with basic HTML the &lt;br&gt; opening screen after login appears but no messages. Only a the star &lt;br&gt; icon appears where the messages should be. Scrolling down blanks the &lt;br&gt; entire screen.

  Perhaps Yahoo is doing this on purpose? Maybe they are tired of &lt;br&gt; resources on their servers via POP being used by Gmail accounts? &lt;br&gt; Hoping to get Gmail users to come back to Yahoo, they garbage up the &lt;br&gt; messages in Gmail and leave them just fine in Yahoo.
