It only starts a discussion about it if you press the button that's
shown after you've finished editing.
It says ("Do you want to share it with the group? etc...)
I don't believe any of my edits have shown up-- as I refuse to press
the button.
There are no owner settings to turn off the behavior of showing that
page after an edit's made.
If you want to see what the owner settings are, create your own group,
play around, and then delete that group.
Feel free to advise me on better settings, like the order of the side
links or the overall color scheme.
I've gone with the earth/sky scheme as it seems map-appropriate. :)
