Even if you give me sample addresses to try and tell me how you go
about replicating the problem, I doubt I will get any different
results...
The tiles load much too quickly for me to think about pasting a second
address and clicking again...

I know some others have seen a similar error, but those posts didn't

That's the thing, it loads fast in that clean interface. I tested in
the Google Geocoder Example (I couldn't find the url) and the problem
also occured.
You could try one more time. Try to entering two or more addresses in
a quick sequence, trying to not let the map load all the tiles.

Also, Is there a way through the API to know if there are tiles still

I want my iPhone app to take multiple address and map them on the same
map with markers. I'd like my web app to kick into the native Google
maps on the iPhone instead of a launch a browser. I know how to
contruct the static map URL but it always seems to fire up a new

Its a massively large package and they dont partition it out like Arc
does you pretty much
get the whole enchilada. It can do masses without ever have to dig in
to script writing
The learning curve is still there.
I did mention that it had very recent updates to that specific area of
the code..;-). outstripping documentation

I couldn't replicate the problem. The tiles load too quickly for me
to search for an address before they are loaded. I didn't see an
obvious issue with your code except for the tight while loop:
while (geocoder == undefined); //espera enquanto geocoder nao foi

which seems to me like a bad idea, but wouldn't cause the problem you

You are already reading lat/longs from XML and using them to build a
polyline in the example you gave-

Maybe you're thinking making a polyline (even an invisible one) that
you can work on with .GetPointAtDistance() is more complicated than it
is ;)

Yup, because the infowindows work properly.

rather than using the fromLatLngToPixel() method in the tooltip
positioning code, is it any better
by substituting the alternative GMap2 method -
fromLatLngToDivPixel(latlng)

The labelOffset specifies the position of the text relative to the upper
left corner of the marker image.
