Agilent DMMs?
I've owned & used Fluke DMMs and Tektronix scopes. I don't know much about the Agilent U1242A DMM. What's the history of these meters? Quality? Usability? Anyone have any experiences to share? Thanks.

GFCI
Hey, a quick question. Does a plug-in GFCI need a three-wire grounded outlet to do it's thing, or can one safely use a 3-2 adapter?

Voltage Required for Battery Charger
Hi, I'm trying to make a car battery charger from a microwave transformer. I removed the high voltage secondary windings and now want to add windings for the 12V secondary. I was wondering how to calculate the required voltage needed for a 25A charger? I know the voltage is typically from 13.7-14.4V maybe up to 15V.... more »
