Okay, I realize that this is from the L.A. Times and it's going to
emphasize his career in local news (and, being an east coaster, I had
no idea that he'd had one) ... but his Stalag 17 role should have been
mentioned higher up in this thing.

BTW, My Little Margie was on TV and radio during 1952-55; there was no
transition.  The radio episodes were originals.

I am also noting that Charles Farrell was only 51 when he began playing
50-year-old Vern Albright.  I think he looked at least 65.
