Mayank - I share your views on this. Everyone can have their bit of
fun ride, its their choice, but, as a group which is interested in
promoting cycling (I thought that was the case), each one of us should
be doing our bit. I can see that some of the regulars have been
dropping off the CM. Probably it would be good to know why. New bikers
coming in is good, but the old timers should be in. Again, do not feel
that media coverage should be a motivational factor, it can just be an
icing on the cake. I feel the good thing for the new riders would be
to meet to the guys whom they have read about (either in media or on
BBC) in person and have a chat with them.
