The best thing to do is to brake before the turn and bring the bike
down to speeds that you are comfortable to turn with..
and then turn. You may want to feather the brakes if it is downhill
turn. This techniques can be used in anything that you ride / drive.

Count me. ( I will reconfirm saturday evening ). I have done some parts of this ride earlier. Good route indeed.

I am in MTB with slicks. My average speed is about 20 km/hour.

Ha Dileep no it wont be a bad idea but a good learning skill for you
as you know i also ride in the city with my clipless pedals and shoe
and more imp i ride everyday in the city as well. Now the first you
get to learn a some need tricks and also over come the fear of falling
and also sharpen your balance technical try it its really fun. I know

It was actually a puppy and it came in front of me out of the blue. I
ran over him but it did not look like he was hurt a lot as he ran away
crying.
For a minute I was feeling very bad about it and slowed down. After
watching him disappearing in the bushes I thought of continuing and
catching up with others.

Hi Rekha,

There are separate rides on saturday and sunday on the same route!! Many of
us can't make it on Saturday coz we are working on this day..

Join up based on your comfort level on any of these days!!!!
