Highlights

- sponsorships, press etc etc - not the primary concern. More important that we 'race'. Lets score points first and burn some rubber :-)

Rules and Regulations
- Only categories will be for Men and Women.
- No pros/amateurs, no road bikes/MTBs, no hybrids, its for the rider to choose the appropriate equipment for the race of the month. This way there can be different types of races over an year.
- Different races - Time Trial, Criterium, Cross Country, Century+, Road ....
- How many total number of races and how many mandatory to qualify for the championship?
- Rider can perform warm up on the circuit. But a rider should not ride on the course, starting from 30 minutes before the first rider's start time.
- All riders must present themselves for checks on their bicycles no later than 15 minutes before their start time.
- The rider shall start from a stationary position. He shall be held and then released, without being pushed, by a holder. The same holder shall perform the task for each rider.
- No Drafting: If one rider is caught up by another, he may neither lead nor follow in the slipstream of the rider who caught up. A rider, upon catching up with another shall leave a lateral gap of at least 2 metres between himself and the other rider, unless the road conditions prevent it. After 1 km, the rider caught up shall ride at least 25 m away from the other.
- No drafting after or near vehicles.
- No Unsportsmanlike Like Conduct - Be considerate of those around you, including fellow racers, pedestrians, motor vehicles, and residents.
- No Littering – Littering will not be tolerated. Do not dispose of gel packs on the road or any other garbage, not during the ride and not around the start and finish area.
Points system
- The points shall be given away as:
- 1st place gets 30pts.
- 2nd place gets 28pts.
- 3rd place gets 26pts.
- 4th place gets 25pts.
- 5th place gets 24pts. and so on.
- 25th place gets 4pts.
- Every participant after the 25th place gets 3pts each.
- These points get accumulated in each event and the biker who has the
maximum no. of points at the end of the season is declared the champ.
- These points are for everyone. There are no categories.
