I just wanted to say hello and I'm wondering how I find everyone
else's blogs so I can read and comment. I would love to do some
networking to get my blog going. Can anyone point me in the right
direction?

Welcome to the blogging world. You can find a ton of bloggers posting
their blogs in these forums. Another way to find blogs is to use the
http://blogsearch.google.com/ search. Good luck to you.

can do, I suppose....
I'll make sure to take a look at yours and maybe leave a comment!

You are all on the right path, here is as good a start as anywhere,
people read and go look. When you post to forums always inc your url,
on the blog post quality and often if you want to maintain reader
interest.

Well, you've made a start, by reaching out to others.. Blogger has a
piece entitled, "Promoting Your Blog." It is a beginning, even though
it is somewhat self-serving. The info is at least in one location. Go
to http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=42377. Beyond
that, it is pretty much getting out there and engaging other
bloggers. I'll check out your blog now to see the nature of your
work. Once the word gets out there and spreads, next thing that you
know, you'll have strangers coming to your site. Additionally, I'm a
big fan of interpreting the data supplied by counters, such as
sitemeter.com or Google analytics. You'll get a sense of your readers
and some info about them. Good luck.

Good idea for a blog. Have you checked out dooce.com. She features
almost everyday a product from the etsy stores in a very nice way,
maybe you can combine showcase of products with tips on how to do
craft project like the mag real simple does (but in a more crafty,
creative, interesting way). Good luck
