A cccooold Chocolate Martini on a summer evening, maybe a
Margarita...but I've GOT to have a really good cup of coffee in the
morning. I use the flow-through method with a fine grind coffee...not
a machine. Tim Hortons in a can or my own blend (usually French
Breakfast mixed with Columbian). But no African coffee as there is a
weird perfumey smell and taste that I find offensive.
Like you RenoJean, I'd really rather have a good coffee.. see;
http://theshawpad.blogspot.com/search/label/Coffee However, on a Pub-Quiz nite, like last night, social norms apply and
drinking Coffee in the bar wouldn't be right.
On these occasions I normally take to Guinness (stout), but last night
I had a slight sweetness in my tooth, so I was drinking bitter. My
head was sore most of the day today! (better stick with the Black-
stuff in future).

I would have to say my favorite is Tequila. Nothing mixed in, no salt,
no lime. Just a nice bottle of Tequila and some ice, maybe. If we are
all out drinking at a bar, or party, then i will do shots, if we are
all sitting back, i will drink it on the rocks.

Actually it would depend on the time of year for me. Since I spend so
much time at my computer my choice of drink for the summer / warm
months is ice tea. During the colder months I like having either a
cup of hot tea or hot chocolate.
During my "away from the computer" moments a nice glass of red wine is
nice.
