Well, you've made a start, by reaching out to others.. Blogger has a
piece entitled, "Promoting Your Blog." It is a beginning, even though it is somewhat self-serving. The info is at least in one location. Go to http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=42377. Beyond that, it is pretty much getting out there and engaging other bloggers. I'll check out your blog now to see the nature of your work. Once the word gets out there and spreads, next thing that you know, you'll have strangers coming to your site. Additionally, I'm a big fan of interpreting the data supplied by counters, such as sitemeter.com or Google analytics. You'll get a sense of your readers and some info about them.
