Subject: Leaving Blogger
I am trying to switch from blogger to wordpress for one of my blogs.
Blogger does a great job with my audio podcast, but the templates just
aren't as crisp as I would like for my most popular blog.  Anyways, I
have been hosting blogger at my own site www.smellmyblog.com for over
a year now and I would like to move.  However, I can't get blogger to
let go of my domain name.  I tried taking down my blog, but blogger
just won't let me.  How do I get blogger to release my DNS back to
me?  I can't point www.smellmyblog.com anywhere and I can't even set
it up as a forward.  Blogger just grabs it.  What do I do?

Your DNS points to 1and1.com.
 ;; QUESTION SECTION:
 ;smellmyblog.com.              IN      ANY

 ;; ANSWER SECTION:
 smellmyblog.com.       172800  IN      NS      ns57.1and1.com.
 smellmyblog.com.       172800  IN      NS      ns58.1and1.com.

What specifically are you trying to do, and what, specifically, are
you seeing when you can't get blogger to let go of your domain name?
