All of a sudden, when I post it is posting in Hindi!  There is a
little icon on the right side of the bar (just under "Edit HTML") that
has a drop down with Hindi checked (and a few other languages listed
under it!!  How do I remove it and get my posts back in english?

Disable transliteration.
