Please go to the Layout location as below:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server
Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS
Here confirm if the SpUsageSite.aspx is present, if not copy the file from
another server in the farm to this box.

MR. Walsh-
I have seen many of your posts just about any where I search for information pertaining to Share Point so I know you know a lot of stuff. I currently am totally confused with my Share Point site (2007) but my 2003 site is just fine. SP confuses me so much so that I STILL can't tell the exact difference between WSS and SP even though I have read about it several times. What I would like to do is edit user's profiles in my site. As it is, the site doesnt allow me to add additional info on a user ie. an email address???? I tried adding an AD group to SP of which it contains all my users on my domain but even if an email address is in their AD profile, it doesnt automatically come over so SP can see it. So I then added all the user individually, well there is no place for me to add their email address there either. PLEASE advise....I'm dying here.

Our Windows 2008 server is setup for Siemens Solid Edge Insight Server. In
their instructions they never said anything about a Active Directory Role.
But the Windows 2008 server is part of our SBS2008 network (it came free
with SBS2008) and I'm wondering if I could get the users on SBS2008
to be seen by the Windows 2008 server (I'm just guessing).

I understand file associations, based on file extensions, is fully under
the control of the workstation operating system and has nothing to do
with SharePoint (AFAIK). Something changed on the local workstation
computers.

Not sure why a web site has have Excel 2003 and compatibility pack but
your only other option is to switch the default program that open .xlsx
files. R-click on one, and select Open with, Choose program, Browse to
Excel.exe in the Office 14 directory, select it, and tick the box for

One of our users have found an error when he tried to setup notify user
alerts from a custom list whenever there are changes on the list items
included in a custom list view.
