Yep.  I used to do it all the time. Nowadays, though, I just buy the
aseptic packs that last practically forever.

I also have done so successfully and I make my own soy milk (at about
30 cents a quart). When I get lazy I buy the 2 half gallon pack of
SILK, for 5,89, (1.50 a qt,  But I prefer to stay away from
PASTEURIZED soy milk.  Buy the machine, make your own from organic non-
GMO beans,  and freeze to your hearts content.

Yep.... forgot abt the aseptic packs and this is what I
will do instead of freezing

I'm wanting to by a freezer soon...... live
alone....and trying to determine what I might freeze in
it so as to make a decision on the SIZE of freezer to
buy.

My objective with the freezer is to stock up so that I
don't have to run to the grocery store more than once
or twice a month. hence I "might" be freezing things
that are generally not frozen such as bread and milk
and other "bulky" items.  So.... might need more
freezer space than I think.

I was originally looking at 5 cubic foot chest freezer
but now leaning towards 7 cu foot.

WHY?

Buy the unrefrigerated soy milk in the carton (refrigerate after opening) it
has a very long shelf life.

We buy the stuff by the case at Costco.
