I saw nothing of a press release, and if there was one I agree it was out of line. What I see is her adding Fort Hood (which wasn't originally on the book signing tour) and then giving the proceeds to the victims. I'm not sure why you and doggy think this is a bad thing.

I can cut her a break on the military thing. Her oldest son, (with the very odd name of "Track") enlisted in the Army and she appears to have been personally involved in military matters, through Track and also as Governor as commander of the National Guard units, in such a way that I don't perceive her Fort Hood activity as out-of-line with her usual actions.

No, you don't know that for a fact, because it isn't true. Until I bought this Pontiac G6 GT, I had never bought a car with air conditioning, because I regard it as an unnecessary expense, even in hot climates. Hot weather doesn't really bother me, and it only lasts a few months a year.
