Driving from Austin to Dallas a couple of years after getting married to Maria, we were about halfway to Waco when I noticed a couple of Harley bikers coming up in the left-hand lane. It truly looked like Captain America and his sidekick Billy. I told Maria, "Check this out, here come a couple of real throw-backs on the left." As they got next to us, she exclaims "Hey, that's my Uncle Jack!" I was like, uh, yeah sure. But sure enough, I rolled down the window (rolling up I35 at about 75mph) and Maria waved, they waved back and we pulled over and shot the shit for a minute or two, and then they headed on up to Waco for a Harley event. Uncle Jack: One of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, unless you owed him money from bad football wagers.

That's because you aren't tuned in to the freedom of the road that you get when you ride a motorcycle. -- "Always remember that it is impossible to speak in such a way that you cannot be misunderstood: there will always be some who misunderstand you." Sir Karl Popper
