George Mougios Reports

                 George Mougios Reports

                         Common Sense

November 29, 2006

I was browsing over Connecticut Post's web site and found that the editors and staff, headed by Asssitant Editor, Tucker McCormick, recently adopted a new code of ethics for the newspaper and its staff. I wonder if they ever considered a code for NOT suppressing the news. The POST certainly does suppress the news. I exemplified that fact with my recent stories about reporter Brophy and how he was ordered to suppress the news about the massage parlors in Fairfield, one was recently closed down by the police forces, albeit the state and federal forces and the locals just went along for the ride.

There was a major fire at my house on Capitol Avenue while I was in the house, a set fire, and it was the only fire ever on that block. Yet not a word in CT POST about that fire. That is what happens in a one horse town and in this case a one newspaper town. Even the one time weekly Connecticut Herald gave the Post a run for its money when Harry Neigher ran his weekly column that had gained national prominence. Neigher put a real scare into the then POST management. The POST has Harry's son, Attorney Allan Neigher on a yearly retainer. I guess the POST isn't tsking any chances that Neigher may follow in his father's footsteps.

Part of the reason corruption runs rampand in Bridgeport is partly due to the fact that the POST continues to suppress the news. The massage parlor story was given by me to Brophy over five years ago. That criminal activity could have been stopped then. It wasn't the local Fairfield police that stopped it. It was the state and national police entities that forced the issue and the local police had to go along with it.

I have been calling the fire department to get a record of the fire at my house and no one ever calls back. Because of this newsletter, the Fabrizi gang, and that is just what they are, a gang of thieves, has blocked this e-mail newsletter from going to any city sites or any city officials including the fire and police departments. I am flattered, as I previously stated, that the Mayor thinks so highly of this publication that he wants it blocked.

But the mayor is busy this month planning a 50 story building in Bridgeport. That's what drugs do to you. This is the most rediculous idea and only a drug addicted individual would ever come up with that idea. But they are all afraid to tell the emperor he has no clothes on.

                           Common Sense

November 28, 2006  Part 111

After the SPECIAL REPORT I covered in my last letter,  I have to get back to the stories at hand that I was reporting. In case you didn't read the special report, it concerned the fact that after police, and state and federal authorities raided that Korean massage parlor over Devore's closed bakery shop. and closed it down due to alleged prostitution going on there, Diedra's Massage on the Post Road in the Circle of Fairfield, was sold for $75,000 to another group of Koreans who also own another massage parlor on King's Highway. This story did not make Connecticut Post.

I mentioned that for many years now, I have been urging the POST and its ace reporter for Fairfield, Andy Brophy, to do an expose on the Korean massage parlor over Devore's but Brophy laughed it off. I was under the impression that his superiors. whoever they may be, were the ones who told Brophy to stay away and leave the story alone. This is what takes place in a one horse, one newspaper town or city, suppression of the news which allowed the evil doers to continue in business corrupting people's morals.

We not only have a city seething in corruption but a newspaper that fails to report the truth and even helps the conspirators by publishing their lies and phony deals and making them appear as realities and possibilities.

STEAL(Steel) POINT isn't off the drawing board after all these many years and now the Cocain  addicted mayor of Bridgeport, John Fabrizi, wants to build several million square feet across from the Bluefish stadium. Fabrizi also wants speacial permission for a 50 story building on that site. That will be the highest building in Bridgeport if not the entire state. I guess Fabrizi wants the building to get as high as he does when he is doing CRACK. The whole matter is rdiculous yet Connecticut Post merely reports on it and doesn't condemn the whole deal as preposterous.

The head of the zoning board is considering presenting Fabrizi's proposal to the entire board. The head of the zoning board is the lady whose son was charged with vaious serious crimes. FARDY is his name and Mrs. Fardy, if she had any common decency, would resign her position on the zoning board.

More coming shortly, stayed tuned
